Planning of antirecessionary measures in compressed natural gas production

       The article reviews compressed natural gas (CNG) filling network and fleet of cars. The comparison of investment cost efficiency under the CNG costs growth was made. The authors offer the measures for improvement of investment efficiency indices while in construction and operation of CNG-fueling stations. The work aims at increase of investment cost efficiency of CNG-fueling stations.

European energy transport corridors within alternative fuels scope

       The paper reviews European energy transport corridors in context of alternative fuels development. Political influences in shaping the European Union energy, transport and ecological strategies are emphasized. Since European Union lags behinds in implementation of alternative fuels, it is recommended to enlarge and to improve European transport networks based on the currently available Eurasian oil and gas transportation infrastructure. The specific stress should be put on development of the "blue corridors" implying natural gas usage.

Biomethane and Hydrogen Technologies as an Instrument for Building up Ecoefficiency of Transportation Sector

       The World economic development is impossible without further development of transportation sector. It is accompanied by escalation of fuel consumption and buildup of emissions. Expansion of alternative transportation fuels with more attractive environmental and economic properties is an inevitable global imperative. Today only LPG and natural gas are real commercial alternatives to gasoline and diesel.

Natural gas as the decision of environmental problems of domestic motor transport

       The situation with ecological consequences of operation of motor transport and influence of harmful components of the fulfilled gases on people health is analyzed in the article. It is marked, that abroad one of the most perspective directions of reduction of negative influence of motor transport on an environment is wide use of natural gas as motor fuel.

Utilization of sunflower oil as a fuel for diesel engines

       Possible ways of utilizing sunflower oil as a fuel for diesel engines are considered. Experimental work on D-245.12C diesel engine fueled with mixture of sunflower oil and diesel fuel of different percentage has been carried out. Possibility of exhaust toxicity characteristics improvement by using these mixtures as a fuel for automotive and tractor diesel engines is demonstrated.

Bioethanol fuel application on the automobile transport

       The prospects of bioethanol fuel use in the automobile transport sphere of different countries of the world are considered. Advantages and deficiencies of the ethanol and new E85-fuel (on the base of ethanol and petrol mixture) also were discussed.

Experimental data of testing the ecology factor on diesel engine by using rapeseed oil in the capacity of motor fuel

       Experimental data of testing rapeseed oil in the capacity of motor fuel on engine Ä-440 is given. Data of testing is given of reduction toxic emission consumption in exhaust gas by using rapeseed oil in the capacity of motor fuel.

Application of a gas condensate as motor fuel

       The concept of application of a gas condensate as motor fuel is stated. The scheme of submission of a gas condensate of the modern car is developed. The algorithm and a control system of processes of submission gas a condensate of system of the modern car is developed. Results of tests are generalized at work of a diesel engine on a gas condensate.

Prospects for Liquid Natural Gas Floating Production Storage and Offloading Systems (LNG FPSO)

       Review of LNG FPSO projects is presented. LNG FPSO is self-propelled offshore vessel or barge for offshore LNG production which contains connection with subsea production system, gas treating system, LNG plant, LNG and condensate storages, unloading system. LNG FPSO provide capability for small offshore gas fields development and monetization, for application at early stages of large gas fields development or for others schemes of application. Features of the most interesting LNG FPSO projects such as Air Products, Shell, Flex LNG, SBM Offshore è Linde, INPEX and others are considered.

On-board synthesis gas generator for spark vehicle applications

       An overview of the current status and perspectives of lean fuel-air mixtures enriched with hydrogen or synthesis gas additives for internal combustion engine (ICE) applications is presented. Comparative analysis of on-board hydrogen supply systems (cylinder, liquefied, generated from borohydrides or by water electrolysis) is performed. An approach based on air conversion of a part of primary fuel into synthesis gas and the use of the produced gas as an additive to primary fuel was proved most promising. For this purpose, a number of catalysts for natural gas (used as fuel) conversion to synthesis gas were developed. A compact under-cowling mounted synthesis gas generator was designed together with its control unit adjusted with ICE control system. A vehicle equipped with synthesis gas generator and fuelled by natural gas with synthesis gas additives was tested on bench, chassis dyno-rollers and road. Potentials of the proposed technology for the development of energy-efficient ecologically conscious engines are analyzed.

Influence of electronic regulation systems workflow engine ZMZ-4062 GAZ-31105 Volga when converting it to gas fuel

       This article addresses the evaluation of the impact of electronic systems management workflow engine ZMZ-4062 GAZ-31105 Volga when converting it to compressed natural gas (CNG) on emissions of pollutants from exhaust gases, vibration and acoustic parameters (noise and vibration) and dynamic performance car.
