Considering that the editorial staff of "Alternative Fuel Transport" International Scientific and Technical Journal of the National Gas-Vehicle Association adapts the edition for inclusion to the Index of VAK (State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles), the authors are requested to strictly observe the following requirements when preparing their articles for publication:
- 1. All scientific and technical articles shall be supplemented by the following items in English and Russian languages:
Title, full names of authors, their job positions, academic degree (if any), contact info (e-mail, phone numbers), abstract of article, key words.
- 2. All English texts shall be typed in lower case only, the upper case shall be used for first letters in proper nouns.
- 3. Authors of other publications (information, advertisement, etc.) shall submit both in English and Russian language the following data: title, full names of authors, their job positions, address and contact info (e-mail, phone numbers).
Requirements for preparation of articles for publication in Magazine
The editorial staff of "Alternative Fuel Transport" International Scientific-and-Technical Magazine of National Gas Vehicle Association advises the authors to meet the following requirements when submitting articles for publication.
All articles shall be supplemented with brief abstracts and key words in Russian and (if possible) in English. The materials shall be submitted on any electronic data carrier in WinWord format, with indication of the file name and attachment of the text in hard copy version.
The text of article shall not exceed 14,400 characters with spacing.
The submitted text with graphics and tables shall have continuous numbering.
The graphic material shall be executed in the format that ensures the sharpness of all details in the figures. Formulas and symbols shall be illegible and unambiguous. All formula designations shall be explained. Only those formulas, which are mentioned in the text, shall be numbered. Physical quantities and units of measurement designations must be expressed in the International System of Units (SI system). In electronic version, text and figures shall be created in Microsoft Word program with *.doc, *.rtf file extensions. Figures (resolution 300 dpi minimum, CMYK) shall be created in *.jpg,*. jpeg, *.tiff,*.eps, *.cdr formats. The list of picture captions must be attached in separate file. Do not format the text by yourself.
When submitting the materials by e-mail, it is necessary to attach an explanatory note (sending person, list of files, etc.). The large files shall be archived. The process of article preparation for publication shall comply with the documents, which define the rules for mass-media distribution of information.
The article shall include the following information about the author(s): full name, job position, academic title (if any), postal and electronic address, contact phone numbers (office, home). The group of authors shall designate the responsible person with whom the editorial staff will be in negotiation while preparing the article for publication.
The list of references shall include the sources quoted in the text. Only published works are allowed for quotation. The list of references shall be made up in the order of quotation. It must contain the following data: family name and initials of authors, title of work; for magazine - title, publication year, number of issue, pages where the article was printed; for books - place and year of printing, publishing house, total number of pages.
The editorial staff reserves the right for editorial changes and is not liable for the accuracy of published material. All alterations and additions in the article submitted for publication will be reconciled with the author or the representative of group of authors.
The materials accepted for publication in "Alternative Fuel Transport" Magazine are published on royalty-free basis.
The manuscripts are not reviewed and returned.
The editorial staff reserves the right to place the published articles on the web-sites of Magazine and National Gas Vehicle Association.
The editorial staff does not transfer or sell the materials to other printed or electronic publications without approval of author (representative of group of authors).
